Description of Poles &
Parts
- Solid hand turned Douglas fir ball finished with gold leaf
- Lignum vitae truck turned and mortised to sit over tenon at tip; halyard in rove through carved holes that will last forever and not cause wear.
- Dacron halyard with either nylon or brass flag clips (not shown)
- Engineered eight-sided Douglas fir pole fabricated with marine epoxy and turned on our 56 foot lathe; sealed, primed and two coats of marine polyurethane enamel for maximum protection.
- Bronze cleat for halyard (not shown)
- Pressure treated tabernacle posts with stainless steel bolts. They are custom cut to length to comply with building code post depths.
By removing one of the bolts the pole can be pivoted to the ground for maintenance.
